Russell Brand was obviously still a bit confused because of all the hassle with the BBC at least he turned up on the wrong red carpet a few weeks ago. He was supposed to appear at the premier of Oliver Stone’s “W” premier at the London Film Festival at the end of October. However, he ended up on the wrong red carpet - the one for the film “Secret Life of Bees”. As soon as he realised his mistake he ran back to his car and drove 20 meters further to the correct venue Always the funny man he, of course, commented on his little faux pas before he left: That’s what you get for wearing sunglasses at night! You can’t see a thing.

Russell Brand is single again. He has officially confirmed his split from Teresa Palmer, who used to be his girlfriend for 3 months. The 33-year-old comedian is just too big a womanizer

Noel Gallagher is planning his next career step. Although he is completely committed to Oasis at the moment he can imagine to become a scriptwriter one day. And he then would love together with best friend Russell Brand. The two have been friends for quite a while now and the combination of their wit works a treat on Russell’s Radio 2 show. Noel thinks that this is down to their contrary characteristics.
Just imagine the two writing a sitcom together…brilliant. I can’t wait!

Hooray! Russell Brand got offered a new job. He’s been asked to host this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, airing from Los Angeles in September.
Brand’s breakthrough role was in the 2008 film “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” in which he played Aldous Snow, the boyfriend of the title character. He received rave reviews for his performance as Snow. Brand will again play the character of Aldous Snow for a buddy comedy entitled “Get Him to the Greek” co-starring Jonah Hill. He is reuniting with “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”-director Nicholas Stoller and producer Judd Apatow for the film. It is described as a very dirty take on “Almost Famous”.

Who would have thought the wominzer par excellence to be interested in only one girl at a time. But that’s it what seems to happen at the moment. Russell Brand appears to have changed his ways. He recently confirmed to have met someone beautiful and that he wants to settle down. And at a charity ball last week, he certainly staied true to his word. Brand and Aussie Teresa Palmer began dating over a month ago and had only eyes for each other at London’s Black Ball charity gala. They first met on the set of the film “Bedtime Stories” and have fallen for each other straight away.
