How great would that be? Ricky Gervais is in talks to host the Oscars.  The organisers are eager to sign him after they saw him appear on the Emmys. They approached Ricky’s agents straight after the awards ceremony to try and get him signed up. Ricky would be following in the footsteps of big comedy veterans such as Billy Crystal, Ellen DeGeneres and Steve Martin but I’m sure he’d be the funniest host ever.
